How do I book?

To start the booking process, please visit South Etobicoke Therapy’s booking platform and make a booking request. You should be automatically directed to the retreat appointment beginning on October 22, 2026.After you make the booking request, we will send a follow up email within 2 business days to discuss room selection, deposits, and payment schedules.To secure your spot, you will be required to pay a $250 non-refundable deposit. You can pay by credit card through the booking platform, or by Interac E-transfer sent to admin@southetobicoketherapy.ca.The remaining balance will be due closer to the retreat.

Is the deposit refundable?

To ensure the retreat is able to proceed, the deposit is non-refundable.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Accepted Answer

We understand that life can be unpredictable. Our cancellation policy is as follows:Full refund if you cancel more than 60 days before the retreat.50% refund if you cancel 30–60 days before the retreat.No refund within 30 days of the retreat, though we may be able to transfer your spot to someone else.Please reach out to us at info@lumiyoga.ca if you have any specific concerns.

Your retreat package includes:3-nights accommodation.All meals (vegetarian, with consideration for dietary restrictions).Yoga and wellness practices led by certified professionals.Access to the sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, water activities, and other amenities.

How does room selection work?

Room selection is first come, first serve. After you make a booking request, we will email you to ask about your room preference. Send your deposit to lock in the room you want.Please note that the retreat organizers reserve the right to change room selections at their sole discretion based on the needs and dynamics of retreat attendees.

How do I get to Eco Bay Chalet?

We will send out detailed directions to all participants closer to the retreat date. If you don’t have a car, please let us know and we can help coordinate carpooling with other attendees.

What can I expect during the retreat?

Throughout the weekend, you’ll enjoy a variety of activities including:Guided Yoga: Morning and evening sessions to help you release tension and restore balance.Mindfulness Practices: Techniques to bring you into the present moment and help process emotions.Forest Bathing: Immersing in nature for stress reduction and deep relaxation.Sound Baths: Soothing sounds to promote healing and relaxation.Free time: Relax in the sauna and hot tub, take a nature walk, go for a kayak, or cozy up with a book by the indoor or outdoor fireplaces.

No prior experience is necessary! Our sessions are suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Janet will guide you through all yoga and mindfulness practices, and Carly will be there to offer emotional support and somatic exercises as needed.

What should I bring to the retreat?

We’ll send you a detailed packing list closer to the retreat date, but here are some essentials:Comfortable yoga clothes and warm layers.Yoga mat and any props that you like to use during practice.Outdoor gear for exploring the forest (good shoes, jacket, etc.).A journal for reflection.Personal items such as toiletries, medications, etc.
